In December 2025, guests gathered for a special gala celebrating the Housing Authority of Travis County's 50th anniversary, hosted by the HATC Foundation. This milestone event honored half a century of providing safe, affordable housing while raising crucial funds for the Foundation's ongoing mission. Established in 2017 as the nonprofit arm of HATC, the Foundation empowered residents and voucher holders through scholarships, workforce development, financial literacy training, and supportive services designed to create pathways to self-sufficiency. The HATC Foundation bridged the gap between affordable housing and long-term success for Travis County families, and participation in this golden anniversary gala directly supported its work in helping individuals gain the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to build better futures and achieve economic mobility.
This special event was held on December 12th, 2025, at Norris Conference Centers, located at 2525 W. Anderson Lane, Suite 365, Austin, Texas 78757, from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M.
